Christmas Events In Myrtle Beach SC
You certainly don’t have to look very hard to find an event in Myrtle Beach to help get you into the Christmas spirit! We never have a dusting of snow on December 25th, but that doesn’t mean that we aren’t holly and jolly during the last month of the year. Below you will find a few of our favorite Christmas events in Myrtle Beach going on over the next few weeks that are always a great time!
2nd Annual Mistletoe Market
When: November 30th & December 1st
At the corner of 9th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard, Mistletoe Market will consist of arts & crafts vendors, food trucks, a Christmas tree lighting (6pm Sat.) a cookie eating contest, inflatables for the kids, a Christmas tree farm, camel rides, live music from Ntranze (4-7pm Sat.) and so much more. This festival will run from 12pm to 8pm on Saturday, Nov. 30th and again from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, Dec. 1st.
35th Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
When: November 30th
The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is a traditional holiday kick-off on the waterway in Little River and North Myrtle Beach. Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the curtain rises on this spectacular maritime parade at the Little River Inlet at 5 p.m. and travels south, arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7 p.m. All boats meet at Tilghman’s Point at 4:30p.m. The parade will begin at dusk and proceed down the waterway to Dock Holidays Marina.
5th Annual ‘A Very Broadway Christmas’ Parade
When: December 7th
Broadway at the Beach will host the fifth annual “A Very Broadway Christmas” on Saturday, December 7. This holiday event will feature a parade, children’s activities and fireworks. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on the 29thAvenue North side of Broadway at the Beach, near Dave & Buster’s and will follow the fire lane around the property, ending near WonderWorks. After the parade, guests are invited to enjoy free children’s activities from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Heroes Harbor area near Margaritaville. Activities include face painting, character appearances, holiday stilt walking balloon artists, train rides, spin wheel of prizes, mail for the military and more. In addition, children can visit with Santa at the all new Holiday House.
The Great Christmas Light Show
When: Thru December 30th
The North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex will become home to The Great Christmas Light Show this holiday season. Opening to the public on Monday, November 25, the drive-through light show will feature almost three million lights festively displayed along a 2 mile drive throughout the Park & Sports Complex. More than 500 “magical light displays”, some up to 55 feet wide, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Visitors will experience 40 “enchanting animated figures” and holiday scenes where the lights will come to life.
